One of my nerdy pet hates is all people who are slaves to DVD Region Coding when it is so easy to beat. Here’s me unlocking my DVD recorder from scratch (well almost)

Oh, by the way, they say that region one discs won’t play on overseas Tv’s because they are Pal well this video disproves that!

I have a Toshiba DVD recorder which I bought advertised as region free but it came locked. None of the websites have any code for it so using that and a PS3 I AM a slave to region codes.
