Apple would be a …
Apple would be a bit more ecological if their products were a bit more modular. My itouch cannot upgrade the memory or change the battery, the hope being that if I want more memory or the battery goes bad, I will just buy a new one instead of just buying more memory or a new battery and keeping the old one. Apple wants as much planned obsolescence as possible so it can make as many as possible…and then we have to throw away as many as possible.

wow i only ever went camping because it’s the cheapest kind of vacation where you can go get drunk and high away from the stress of the city. 700 dollars a night defeats the purpose. how can you relax when the room you’re renting is costing you like 30 dollars an hour. and you’re in the woods

Green if you don’t count the several pounds of aluminum cut out of the solid block to make it. All that takes lots and lots of energy. Milling it was precise, but wasted a ton of energy.

And you don’t have to in a bucket or composting toilet either… they have sweet granite and glass bathrooms with heated floors + towel racks

I just want to know …
I just want to know something. The computer I’m using now may contain arsenic, mercury, and lead pipes (that’s right, it’s a laptop with plumbing) but does that really matter since I won’t bury it in the back yard or feed it to a wild animal?
