2006 from CircuitCity windows XP media center edition intel centrino DUO widescreen 1.60 GHz 1 gig ram 128 dedicated graphics card 120 hard drive cd/dvd burner (LightScribe) technology SD,MS,PRO,MMC,SM,XD (card reader) firewire port connection expansion port 2 S.video output 3 USB ports Altec Lansing speakers hp quick launch buttons i recommend hp computers desktop/laptops way more then DELL see i learned on my own dell uses shared all ram graphics and i use this hp dv5000 for my HD high def video editing with Canon HG10 and program i like using Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus not saying shared wouldn’t work but im a hp fan i love the look dells are very plain, dull but ill make a good comment i seen the latest XPS laptops they look really cool ok but im not a vista fan heard about bugs were in O.S in the beginning of course that prob has i would say been erased no more issues on that dell over priced as well hp/compaq really good tech support i been with hp since 2004 thats 4 yrs and going strong

so u owned this model and it was slow huh i’ve had since 2006 and it seems faster then whats on the market today you might of got a lemon then

No comments unless interstead on HP laptops since i own 2 diff models shown is hp dv5000 other one would be the 2004 17 inch screen zd8000 series (8205)
